Sabbath Month
What is Sabbath Month?
Sabbath is about rest, relying on God, worship, and connecting to God and one another (perhaps even connecting to God through one another) So we are doing what we can to provide a time in which all of these things can happen communally.
What will we do?
-
We will participate in simple worship
-
We will work to include everyone in the worship experience, members of the congregation will be asked to choose our music, read scripture and participate in discussions about Sabbath and how we can participate in Sabbath together
-
We will eat together and fellowship together, often.
-
We will encourage making connections with those in our congregation
-
We will relax and enjoy this time God is giving us to draw closer to our Savior and to one another.
-
We will take this time to work through "Together at the Table" a study our DS has invited us to go through.
