Children's Sunday School: Children's Sunday School begins at 9:45 every Sunday, and is designed to accommodate multiple age groups. We teach using a Montessori system involving multiple learning processes. The focus of the lessons is to give children a familiarity with the Biblical narrative. Children's Sunday School is currently overseen by Rev. Mike Fraley, who has been working with youth and children for over seven years.
Children's Church: Children are welcome to join the regular worship service, though children's church is available. Children's church begins a short while after the worship service begins, allowing all children to participate in worship in song with the rest of the congregation. The children are accompanied by at a minimum of two volunteers who lead them through singing, a Bible story, and activities. All activities and curriculum are overseen by our Children's Pastor, Himmelberger. After the service, the children are often given a snack as time allows. Please inform us if your children have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Facilities: We have three rooms which are commonly used by our volunteers for our children's services. A fully equipped toddler/preschooler room (featured left) is stocked with toys, materials for crafts, and numerous children's books. Our nursery room (featured right) has a number of cribs to help care for sleeping infants, as well as comfortable chairs and nursing pillows for nursing mothers. Further, we have a much larger, high-capacity room available (not featured) which gives plenty of room of children's games, crafts, and activities.
